DESCRIPTION:Around 30 women are murdered every year in Austria\, mostly by their (ex-)partners. In 2021\, a tobacconist in Vienna’s ninth district was brutally attacked in her shop by her ex-partner\, set on fire and died of her severe injuries.\nThis crime scene was transformed into a memorial and art space\, FRAU* schafft Raum\, to draw attention to femicide and women’s rights as human rights.
